Yoga, the ultimate anti-aging practice, brings youthfulness to both mind and body when done safely. Easy, creative warmups (especially in older students and those rehabilitating an injury) are essential before moving into more demanding and strengthening postures. Safety is the number one priority of class followed by laughter and the joy of movement.
Proper alignment improves posture, inviting confident easy movement. Mindful intentional breathing calms and relaxes the nervous system and brings the student to the present moment (if only briefly)!
