I would highly recommend Donna to anyone for your yoga instructions. She is so knowledgeable and individualizes the lessons to meet the needs of everyone. I myself learned that I hold my breathe when I’m talking and her class has helped me calm down and keep my heart rate in check. I have atrial Fib and sciatic both were greatly improved under Donna’s care.

I was plagued with chronic lower back pain for many years due to back injuries that were complicated by degenerating discs. I tried chiropractors and epidurals, but the pain would return and increase with physical activity. I thought that I was doomed to a life of constant pain, until I started yoga with Donna. At first, I was able to alleviate the pain through the practice. Soon I was able to get through the rest of the day without pain, and I could tell that I had increased in strength and flexibility. My posture improved, and I learned ways to stretch and relieve pain at home. I will never forget the morning that I woke up pain free, and I knew that it was due to yoga. I love Donna’s classes and continue to enjoy physical, mental and spiritual improvement. For anyone wanting to attend a yoga session while in Marathon, I would highly recommend Donna Waldrop for the following reasons: She has created a very positive welcoming atmosphere for instruction. She really loves what she does and that is empowering . She is an extremely creative and enthusiastic instructor. She is constantly expanding her knowledge and skills. She has been known to pull out her anatomy book and point to the area we are working on. Her focus for the class is all about the participants. It obviously works because she has a regular following. She listens to individuals and helps them adapt a pose according to their physical abilities. I have also had a massage session with Donna. Again, I felt totally comfortable with her. Her focus was totally on me and helping me relax so that I could truly benefit from her skill in manipulation.
